We spoke to Bulgaria born and raised, American accent speaking – Patso Dimitrov (24) – who’s creative 80s & 90s inspired album covers have been making lots of noise on the Internet.
He has been influenced with hip hop since young age and his passion has brought him to do what he is doing now. He’s been moving all across Europe (Germany, Denmark, The Netherlands, France), dropped out of school, and moved to Barcelona where he finally “found himself” as it feels like his home due to nice weather and people. Being aware of his industry and work, he’s thinking of moving to LA/the States in the future but as for now, he’ll stay in Europe as he likes to think about everything through and go with the flow as he feels like
Patso is a freelance graphic designer and has been working over a year now with NBA on their graphics, social media, and more. He has also been making clothing designs for one of the biggest artists within the music industry such as Future.
He listens to all kind of music genres and out of hip hop, his favourite artists are J Cole and Kendrick Lamar. Hard work pays off – and he’s been recognised in the USA where his work will be hung in the U.S. Caption. As he stated on his Instagram post:
Asking Patso a question who would he like to work with if he could choose only one artists – “Dr. Dre”, he replies. “I have so much respect for many artists but I’d love to work with Dre one day if I could.” Patso is currently working on a album cover of one big artist who’s name he could not reveal yet due to his contract agreement.
